Fast and Perfect
He fixed it and sent it back to me within 24 hours of receiving it. Overall it was less than a week turn around time. I plugged it back in, put the screws in and it powered up and paired immediately. 10/10, 5 stars, whatever you want to call it.

Subwoofer fixed
Subwoofer was 3 years old and apparently bricked by an LG firmware update. LG support had no idea about this issue (very disappointing and borderline not believable) despite a simple Google search turning up a ton of people with exactly the same issue. I found Quyen via one of the multiple reddit threads thanking him for fixing their suddenly bricked LG subwoofer. Process was very simple and cheaper than going through any official LG repair flow, and honestly I was not very interested in giving LG more $ to repair an issue that they caused. Quyen had the subwoofer back to me within a week and all is working again.
